Nice, nice! I thought about this one too! And surprised that somebody already thought about it too.haha! Searching for the right mW laser was a problem (not to mention the price). Just enough to burn the wings and make them flightless..lolz! And of course, the robotics in detecting,spotting and shooting them off the air.. How fast it can react and shoot. Could very well eradicate mosquitos in the yard in seconds(24/7 guard..) lolz!

Hope to see a cost-effective,portable and affordable version of this hi-tech gadget soon..

The most important considerations should be with regards to the application sighting of such a device.

There are important safety considerations such as potential exposure to humans eyes and skin.

Off the bat, attraction and trapping would be more suitable for wide open spaces, but for areas where mosquitoes are extremely dangerous vectors of pathogen transmission, such as hospitals and refugee camps, this system might be very beneficial.

Naturally outdoors. It would be unwise to have the contents of the mosquitoes body being scattered within the confides of an enclosed space.
