Seattle Power Tool Drag Races

For the past 8 years, HAZARDFACTORY has orchestrated the Seattle Power Tool Drag Races in Georgetown as part of the Georgetown Carnival.  The philosophy behind the Seattle Power Tool Drag Races is to take a potentially lethal power tool (such as a circular saw), re-purpose the motor and blade, add a bit of flare, and place it on a track against other similarly sharp, high-speed devices.

This year Chris Love and Lab interns Evan Kline and Dominic Florer worked on a variety of different racers for the June 8th event. We took home a trophy, managed to take out other racers in the head-to-head competition and jumped over flaming hoops!
